Catalog Description 

Processing by casting, powder metallurgy, metal working, material removal, welding and joining. Processing of plastics and ceramics. Finishing processes. Materials recycling. 
Pre-requisite    :    MENG 327: Engineering Materials 
Credit               :    3 hours, two class periods and one three-hour laboratory. 
 
Objective 

To familiarize the students with the different methods by which materials are processed in order to convert them into engineering products.
